This looks promising. An attic insulation baffle that installs at the exterior wall of the house and up against the roof decking.

Standard insulation baffles are normally designed to fit / attach to the roof deck only. This usually requires adding an extra piece of batt insulation or cardboard, when installing blown in insulation such as fiberglass or cellulose, at the exterior wall edge to the roof decking baffle above to keep the blown in insulation from falling into the soffit cavity.

The Accuvent insulation baffle eliminates that extra step. This should work well on new construction with standard rafter spacing, but older houses might still need a little modifying to accomodate odd rafter widths.
