Snow Guards

In areas that get heavy snow, and freeze/thaw cycles, you need to install snow guards in the middle of the roof instead of the bottom only. 200+pounds of snow can build up a good head of steam on the way to the gutter. I've seen many roofs with them only on the bottom, and the guards were ripped off or just mashed flat. Multiple rows help alleviate this problem.
